Bio

Welcome to kindergarten! I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning. I have lived in this area for more than 25 years, but I grew up in the Army and have lived all over the world. I love teaching and my passion is kindergarten. I am married to Philip and we have a house full of teenagers. My oldest son Thomas is a restaurant manger in Charleston, my son Matthew is a student a Midlands Technical College in Columbia, and my daughter Hope is a freshman at The College of Charleston. I also have a stepson at Coastal Carolina University and a step daughter at The University of Mississippi. I enjoy reading, spending time at the beach, and baking, I love to spend time with my family. I check my email (ljorgenson@gcsd.k12.sc.us) and voice mail daily (237-4233) so feel free to contact me at anytime.
