Subjects Taught

I am a graduate of Georgetown High School and the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!). I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from USC.

This is my first year teaching and I am so excited to be starting my teaching journey here at Waccamaw Elementary in Kindergarten. I did internships in Richland County School District One in 1st and 2nd grade classes and did my full time student teaching in Pre-K. I am very excited to implement what I have learned in these classes into my very own classroom!

I am a native of Georgetown County and went through GCSD schools. I come from a long line of educators and teaching has and always will be my passion. I lived in Columbia for 4 years while I was at USC and could not wait to come back to the Lowcountry! I recently got engaged and I'm so excited to be putting down my own roots right here in Georgetown! I can't wait for this upcoming school year and look forward to creating meaningful relationships with all my students and their parents. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to contact me.

In my spare time I like to go to the beach, go out in the boat with my family, play with my 3 dogs, watch Gamecock sporting events, eat good food, and take naps. I have always dreamed of having my own classroom and I'm so excited the time has finally come! I look forward to an exciting school year and Go Dolphins!
